It's possible to add collaborators with different roles and  set up a workflow  to achieve full control on content approval before publication.

The typical scenario includes three type of collaborators:

EDITOR: permission to compose and edit posts/drafts, select tags and targeting, suggesting the time of publication. Once the post is ready it can be sent to review, either assigning it to any reviewer or to a specific collaborator enabled to approve posts. It's possible to include a note with instructions to notify collaborators about some specific requirements.

REVIEWERpermission to approve posts. The "In review" tab contains all the drafts pending for approval, with a preview of the copy and the creativity and on the right there is specification of targeting and suggested time to publish. It's possible to read the "Notes..." to read any useful comment and check who edited the draft and sent it to review. Some posts might be assigned to a specific user so that the "Approve" button is hidden for other reviewers who can still reject the post if they spot that something is missing or wrong.

If a time to publish is previously set, after approval, the post is automatically scheduled for publication, otherwise it will go to the "Approved" tab.

PUBLISHERthis role allows to completing the plan of content, scheduling and publishing any approved posts. The permission of "publish" allows to revise the targeting settings and revise the time of publication, but it doesn't let the user edit the approved copy and creativity. Once completed the post it can be scheduled or published right away.

The roles presented above can be combined in the way that best matches the needs of any social media channel. For example the Social Media Manager might want to have all the three permissions activated with the ability to assign some specific posts of a campaign to a reviewer.

A community manager might need both the roles of the editor and publisher, so that he/she just need to get an approval to deliver the content to the social media.

Some reviewers might require the capability to edit a post, so that they can quickly fix a draft and approve the content without the need to reject and send the post back to an editor.

All the scheduled content for a Social Profile is visible in a practical Calendar view: you can click on the posts to edit them or you can click on the calendar to start creating a new publication.

You can also get a Calendar view with all the scheduled content (including posts under review) of multiple Social Profiles using our Content Plan Review report:

The content calendar can be easily shared with the rest of the team and the collaborators can click on the posts "In review" to approve or reject them.
