Reconnecting your Social Profiles

Occasionally a Social Profile requires to be reconnected to grant new permissions that are necessary to activate new services.
A red alert on the dashboard indicates that a Social Profile has lost connection, it's currently out of sync and new data cannot be collected; the community management service and the publisher are disabled.
In this case, we recommend reconnecting your Social Profile as soon as possible to mitigate any data loss.
Only the administrator of the Social Elephants account can reconnect the Social Profile by visiting the corresponding settings section (1). By clicking "Connect" (2) it's then possible to grant new permissions to Social Elephants to access your Social Profile:
The most common reasons why a Social Profile becomes disconnected are:
change in the roles of the Facebook pages administrators
change of password
security measures put into place by the social network (login from too many devices or from atypical locations, other suspicious actions)
Remember that, in order to connect a Facebook Page or an Instagram Profile, the Administrator role is required (Editor, Analyst or other roles are not valid). If you have any issues please check the permissions required.
